Purpose

As promotions coordinator, you are responsible for planning and executing the promotions for EC concerts, CoHo Shows, Quad shows, movie screenings, promoter shows, and other events including Singles Awareness Night in February.

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

Keeping in frequent communication with Creative Media to get all the graphics and designs for every event in a timely manner - as early as possible for every project.

Filling out purchase orders, printing posters and fliers at Copyland or Campus Copies, and distributing them around on campus and off campus (on the quad, tabling, on bulletin boards, to other organizations, around downtown, etc.)

Online promotions - creating FB events early, updating the EC website, responding to messages, and updating Twitter and posting on UndieTacos and other online social media sites.

Keep in contact with The Aggie, AGTV, and Student Housing to post fliers and get events on the freshman newsletter and other on-campus resources.

Skills

Individuals who are self motivated, timely, and responsible are strongly encouraged to apply for this position. Some experience with art and design is strongly recommended. We ask that students who apply have a resume (with references) prepared.
