The Ethnic & Cultural Affairs Commission Chair is responsible for reaching its goal as investigating & recommending policies & programs concerning underrepresented communities at UC Davis.  Being a liaison between ASUCD and communities.


As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

  • Facilitate weekly meetings with commissioners.
  • Attend senate meetings.
  • Hold office hours.
  • Aid in legislation or grant processes with student organizations.
  • Organize programming.


Community and/or club organizing and public speaking experience.

Passion for the job.

Previous time with the commission highly recommended.
