Purpose

The Office Manager is responsible for the daily operations of the Student Government Administrative Office. 

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

  1. Prepare and distribute legislation to and from the Senate and the respective commissions.
  2. Prepare and distribute the ASUCD Senate agenda.
  3. Type internal and external correspondence for the Senate members, President, Vice President, and Student Government Advisor.
  4. Make room reservations.
  5.  Maintain history files for the ASUCD Senate, and the ASUCD Elections Committee.
  6. Organize and keep current the Senate and commission bulletin boards.
  7. Utilize the copy machine and run orders to Campus Copies.
  8. Utilize Microsoft Word to create documents and forms.
  9. Manage Office Payroll
  10. Manage Staff Assistants

Skills

  1. Must be well versed and competent with Microsoft Word.
  2. Must be a good proofreader.
  3. Good communication and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to prioritize work, work independently and know personal limitations.
  5. Must be able to anticipate work and be a self-starter.
