Purpose

Organizes and coordinates logistical/operations needs and set-ups for Picnic Day.

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

This includes vehicles, gators, golf carts, stages and stairs, tables, chairs, fencing, water hookups, recycling, solid waste, tents, field use, porta-potties, etc. Works closely with Facilities Services, MU, Grounds, Intermurals, Recycling, and Custodial Departments. Prepares schedule and staffing for setting-up and taking down and returning stages, tents, picnic area, tables, chairs, fencing, bike pods, signs, etc., throughout pre-week and on Picnic Day. Serves as the liaison between Picnic Day and the Facilties Project Manager. Creates table/chair checkout system and vehicle use system. Attends regular Facilities Services meetings. Selects and supervises and trains 3 Assistant Directors. Prepares end-of year report. Attends weekly Board meetings. Holds mandatory office hours 7-10 hours per week beginning fall quarter.
