Purpose

Responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager in retention and recruitment events, scheduling, mandatory meetings, special projects, and administrative tasks. Unitrans is an equal opportunity employer.

 

 

Duties

  1. Assistant to the Human Resources Manager and Coordinators on various projects. (85%)

    1. Assist the Human Resources Manager and Retention Coordinator in planning employee events and activities such as employee appreciation week, employee breakfast, and other group activities.

    2. Assist the Human Resources manager and Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator in promoting hiring through the use of flyers and other media.

    3. Assist the Human Resources Manager and the General Manager on special projects as the need arises.

  2. Keep employee boxes in dispatch up to date with current employee numbers. (5%)

    1. Obtain a list of current employees every quarter

    2. For each employee, ensure that a box out at dispatch is labeled with his/her employee number.

  3. Mandatory Meeting and Scheduling (10%)

    1. Prepare the check in/check out sheet of all employees required to attend the meeting in advance

    2. Set up the room for the meeting

    3. Check in employees as they arrive to the meeting

    4. Help distribute employee glassware as needed

    5. Assist the Human Resources Manager with scheduling of employees (Priority)

    6. Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to develop a document containing the times employees should be time carded for these events
