Purpose
Serves as liaison between TAPS, campus Police, city Police and the Picnic Day Board.
Duties
As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.
Attends regular planning meetings with TAPS and campus Police to plan comprehensive parking and traffic management system for approximately 55,000 visitors. Selects and supervises 3 Assistant Directors. Serves as liaison between campus departments and Picnic Day regarding parking needs. Designs and issues special Picnic Day parking permits and coordinates signage for parking. Works with Unitrans to coordinate bus and shuttle service for Picnic Day. Creates visible signage for the shuttle service. Serves as the liaison between the Chair and the Sign Shop in preparing the signs on Picnic Day. Prepares end-of?year report. Attends weekly Board meetings. Holds mandatory office hours 7-10hrs per week.
