Purpose
To serve as a liason between the Picnic Day Board and the artist(s) of the official Picnic Day logo and design.
Duties
As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.
Designs display cases in the MU throughout the year. Designs and orders Picnic Day stationery. Coordinates design and printing of 1000 Picnic Day posters. Works with Cal Aggie Alumni Association in designing the two page spread in the UCD Magazine. Designs, prepares and publishes 16,000 copies of the official Schedule of Events, (8-12 page tabloid publication) with final editorial approval given by the Chair and Vice Chair. Works with Publicity Director in preparing a press video. Designs, prints, and laminates the name tags/badges for the Directors and Assistants on Picnic Day. Designs flyers for other Directors when needed or requested. Throughout the year takes photos and video clips of the Board and events for a scrapbook. With the Tech Director posts the photos on the website. Selects and supervises 3 Assistant Directors. Prepares end-of year report. Attends weekly Board meetings. Holds mandatory office hours 7-10hrs. per week beginning in winter quarter.
