Purpose

The Publicity Coordinator will sere as the marketing chair for the festival, frequently reaching out to the Davis community and beyond to encourage excitement and attendance to the Whole Earth Festival.

Duties

  • Attend weekly meetings Thursdays @ 7pm, starting Winter Quarter until the festival
  • Must be available for the Weekend of the Festival; May 11-13, 2018
  • Must commit to helping set up and clean up the days leading up to the festival (May 9 & 10, 2018) and the day after the festival (May 14, 2018)
  • Must submit a monthly Staff Report to Directors online
  • Actively publicize for the Whole Earth Festval on-campus and throughout the loval community
  • Actively update the Whole Earth Festival social media
  • Create festival merchandise (ie stickers, buttons, etc.) to help with publicity for tabling
  • Assist Chaos Control Coordinators in finding events to table at for the festival
  • Assist Chaos Control Coordinators in tabling for the festival
  • Responsible for printing flyers for festival and Chaos Control
  • Serve as a volunteer where needed during and after the festival

As part of your employment, you are required to subscribe to the ASUCD newsletter.
