Purpose
To provide bus guidance to drivers currently in the Route Training Program.
The successful candidate may hold this position through expected graduation date based on satisfactory performance in the position.

- Evaluate and provide feedback to drivers currently in the Route Training program
- Submit trainee evaluations and communicate shift changes in a timely manner
- Must attend regular Route Trainer meetings run by the Route Training Manager
- Ensure trainable shift coverage at all time
Skills
1. At least 500 cummulative driving hours.
2. Must have a good driving record.
3. Must be able to work at least three full academic quarters following your hiring.
4. A strong knowledge of all Unitrans buses, routes, and policies
5. Teaching skills necessary to train new drivers on proper operation of transit vehicles.
