Purpose

Serve in the Student Advocate's Office, which assists and represents undergraduate students and campus organizations with matters such as academic or behavioral misconduct allegations, grievances, or other basic needs issues. 

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

Aid the Student Advocate in their duties that affect or relate to current first-year students, attend meetings for and on behalf of the Student Advocate's Office, assist other staff members, coordinate case work, and more. It is not requires that the first-year director be a freshman student. A student of any year is eligible to apply, yet knowledgable of first-year life at UC Davis is helpful.
