Purpose

 

Develop and deliver a conflict management and dialogue program for UC Davis students to be embedded within ASUCD.

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

 

  • Work on a team to develop conflict resolution, conflict mediation, and sustained dialogue opportunities for students across UC Davis.

  • Develop additional conflict management training opportunities to newly-hired ASUCD officials.

  • Coordinate with various campus bodies to develop a curriculum in conflict resolution and sustained dialogue.

  • Develop a training to help students become student facilitators for conflict mediation and/or dialogue circles.

Skills

 

  • Passion for resolving conflict and/or community building.

  • Ability to work successfully in a team setting.

  • Comfort communicating with a number of campus representatives, including leaders of student organizations as well as UCD faculty and staff.

  • Experience with conflict resolution or dialogue programs welcome, but not required.
