The Internal Affairs CommissionChair is responsible for investigating and recommending improvements in ASUCD's internal operations and structure, governing documents, and long-range plans. Additionally, to advise the ASUCD Senate on all internal matters and issues related to the government of ASUCD and the quality of student life at UC Davis.


As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

  1. Chair weekly commission meetings on Mondays at 5 pm.
  2. Hold a minimum of 4 regular office hours each week.
  3. Attend all regularly scheduled meetings of ASUCD Senate on Thursdays at 6 pm.
  4. Report to the ASUCD Senate, Commission opinions and any projects.
  5. Attend Internet and Networking Committee meetings on Fridays at 8 am.
  6. Attend Unit Relocation Space Allocation Committee meetings.
  7. Attend Committee on Committee meetings.
  8. Chair Bylaw Review Special Committee meetings.


  1. Extensive knowledge of ASUCD governing documents
  2. Strong written communication skills
  3. Ability to delegate responsibilities
  4. Knowledge of the innerworkings of Internal Affairs Commission.
  5. Knowledge of University policies
  6. Ability to work under pressure.
  7. Knowledge of Robert's Rules of Order.
  8. Ability to meet deadlines
  9. Knowledge of ASUCD history
