Purpose

Represent the ASUCD Executive Office as the head of student body relations, recruitment and outreach.

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

    • Represents the ASUCD Executive Office through several capacities, including but not limited to:

      • Plan and lead town hall discussions on a regular basis 

      • Research and maintain contact with UC wide executive offices

      • Collaborate alongside the Associate Vice President Communications in recruitment & outreach through various initiatives

      • Assist the Internal Vice President in preparing for weekly ASUCD Senate meetings

      • Assist with widespread hiring of appointed, elected and voluntary members of the association 

      • Assist the ASUCD President, Internal Vice President, Controller, External Vice President or Chief of Staff with great efficiency and unparalleled attention to detail

    • Reporting directly to the Internal Vice President

    • Mastery of written and verbal communication skills

    • Strong knowledge of ASUCD operations & campus involvement

    • Demonstrates ambition and self-motivation to serve beyond necessary capacity

    • Comfortable standing ground in uncomfortable situations

    • Exceptional quick thinking and problem solving skills

    • Strong clerical skills and ability to organize and prioritize duties 

    • Strong willingness to learn and incredible work ethic 

    • Strong passion for community involvement and strong familiarity with the following platforms: Zoom, Facebook, Instagram and Slack. 

    • Experience facilitating difficult conversations with poise

    • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable operating in unprecedented circumstances

    • Strong ability to simultaneously spearhead multiple tasks

    • Devout commitment to serve the Davis community and represent the ASUCD Executive Office
