The Police Relations Task Force will exist to research police reform options on college campuses and gather student input on Davis PD. The group will facilitate transparency and accountability in student-police relations.

  • Attend weekly task force meetings.

  • Engage in dialogue with students, faculty, and administration regarding the role and performance of the campus  police department.
  • Perform outreach to students, student organizations, etc to provide information and receive input regarding the campus police department.



  1. An ability to listen fully and genuinely to a variety  of perspectives.

  2. An ability to remain impartial in decision making.

  3. A passion for community-police relations.

  4. Comfort with virtual communication over both email and Zoom, i.e. with Executive Office Staffers, campus staff, and city council members.

  5. Previous experience in ASUCD is not required; applicants of a variety of backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
