Purpose
The purpose of this position is to help Senator Bocardo-Aguilar achieve his platforms, which include the expansion and promotion of basic necessities like housing, food, giving moer platforms to ethnic and cultural communities, and creating and promoting safe places for individuals to express their gender and sexuality, through legislation that will make changes to the ASUCD government and/or statements that will be sent to Administration.
Duties
As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Attend Legislative part of Senate Meetings.
- Write and review legislation.
- Critically think on new legislation that can be proposed.
- Work on team projects.
Skills
NO EXPERIENCE IN ASUCD REQUIRED, OPEN TO EVERYONE.
