Purpose
To oversee daily operations at the pantry, an ASUCD unit responsible for providing food and basic necessities to students in need. Managers will work together to run all internal operations with guidance from the Director, Assistant Director, and Advisor.
Duties

Volunteer: (x2) Manage orientation process for new volunteers. Ensure all shifts are staffed. Assess skills/interests of members and match with appropriate activities. Host team bonding events. Building relationships with volunteers through onsite shifts.
External Affairs: (x1) Coordinate donation drives, workshops, and awareness events. Lead collaborations with student organizations, campus centers, and academic departments.
Outreach: (x1) Design marketing plans in collaboration with ASUCD Creative Media Marketing and the ASUCD Branding Guidelines & UC Davis Social Media Policies & Guidelines to maximize reach to student users using online platforms. Promote food security programs, nutrition education, and basic needs resources through campus outreach.
Inventory: (x2) Maintain inventory system. Keep donation and delivery records. Place food bank orders.
Program (x2*) Create new projects to uphold the Pantry’s vision, coordinate tasks between different teams, and oversee completion of programs. Step in as a substitute for other managers when necessary.
Technical Projects: (x1) Support the Pantry through technical projects
Data Science: (x1) Identify and define metrics to empower decision-making across the team. Transform data into information to guide organization goals and vision.
Advocacy: (x2) Supports Pantry advocacy efforts through three key areas: nutrition, sustainability, and hospitality. Nutrition: Promote healthier diets for patrons. Sustainability: Advise Pantry staff on best practices for environmental sustainability. Hospitality: Serve as a bridge between Pantry patrons and Pantry leadership.
