Purpose
To work alongside Senator Kato as his right-hand person and fill in when necessary to advocate for students at UC Davis.
Duties
As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.
Responsibilities for Chief of Staff include attending weekly Senate meetings alongside Senator Kato and fill in when he is absent, attend weekly staff meetings and help direct and lead Senator Kato's staff, and give input on legislation that comes across the Senate table.
Skills
The two most important skills are a willingness to learn and a passion for advocacy! Good management skills are also a plus but I highly implore you to apply for this position - it is a good learning opportunity and at best you'll get the position and at worst you'll have gained hands-on interview experience!
