Purpose
The Internal Affairs Commission (IAC) investigates and recommends improvements to the ASUCD Constitution, Bylaws, and Long-Range Plans, often authoring legislation as a commission for consideration by the ASUCD Senate. IAC also occasionally reviews and recommends improvements to the governing documents and internal procedures of outside organizations involved with ASUCD.
Duties
As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.
- Investigate and recommend changes to the ASUCD Constitution
- Investigate and recommend changes to the ASUCD Bylaws
- Disseminate Long-Range Plans of ASUCD
- Advise or draft changes to existing legislation of ASUCD
- Attend weekly meetings of the Internal Affairs Commission
- Attend one (1) ASUCD Senate Meeting (or a portion thereof) each quarter.
- Attending one (1) meeting of another ASUCD subordinate Body of the ASUCD Senate each quarter.
- Collaborate on group and/or individual projects, at the discretion of the Chairperson.
