As Press Secretary to the ASUCD President, you will be responsible for communicating the goals of the ASUCD President to internal and external bodies and assist the ASUCD President in further connecting with the student body.

  • Assist the ASUCD President with weekly social media spotlights
  • Weekly meetings with the ASUCD President to strategize and plan how to best reach undergraduate students
  • Writes press materials: press releases, speeches, presentation materials
  • Makes press appearances: news outlet appearances on behalf of the ASUCD President
  • Optional attendance at ASUCD Executive meetings to stay up to date on recent work within the office


  • Having previous ASUCD experience is highly encouraged
  • Having previous social media experience highly encouraged
  • Working with Canva, Instagram, and Linkedin platforms highly encouraged
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
