Purpose

Assist the Payroll Manager in processing biweekly payroll and cooperate with the other assistants to complete projects.

The successful candidate may hold this position through expected graduation date based on satisfactory performance in the position.

Duties

1.Assist in processing employee timecards

2.Maintain records of employee hours

3.Answer payroll questions

4.Organize information into excel spreadsheets

5.Coordinate tasks with other assistants and the PRM

6.Regularly check email for tasks and payroll updates

7.Must meet deadlines set by PRM and communicate

8.CAN WORK REMOTELY

Skills

No experience is required, but familiarity with Excel, online filing systems, and Adobe PDFs is beneficial. Must be comfortable handling confidential information and maintain professionalism. Work hours are flexible, although should be available every other Sunday to close the pay period (remote options available). (Weekend work will be scheduled based on departmental needs at the discretion of the Payroll Manager). Knowledge of Unitrans operations is preferred.
