Purpose
The Internal Affairs Commission Vice Chair of Regulation and Finance serves as the legislative advisor/regulator on all financial matters to the ASUCD Senate, oversees the allocation of all Senate reserves, makes recommendations for the allocation of funds, and helps the chairperson of IAC in facilitating the commission's responsibilities as the vice-chair of the commission.
Duties

- Attend weekly IAC meetings
- Record meeting minutes and ensure that copies are shared with SGAO
- Collaborate with other members of the Association regarding long-term planning and legislative drafting
- Meet with ASUCD Controller weekly to discuss the state of finances within the Association
- Advise on financial decisions and transactions within subordinate bodies of the ASUCD Senate
- Attend and facilitate all unique responsibilities provided to them as enumerated in the ASUCD Bylaws
- Ability to serve, temporarily, in the capacity of IAC Chair if there is a vacancy in the position

- Exhibit a general willingness to lead, passion to serve one's community, and excitement for collaboration with others
- Demonstrates strong communication, organization, planning, and management skills
- Exhibits familiarity with relevant sections of the ASUCD Bylaws and Constitution which pertain to financial procedures and the functioning of IAC
- Exhibits a strong interest or has experience in fields of finance and/or budgeting to navigate the ASUCD Budget
- Has a strong willingness to learn and an incredible work ethic
- Proficiency with Zoom, Google Drive, and/or Microsoft Office
