The purpose of the position is to assist Senator Alamilla on projects through team management.

-Attend weekly staff meetings and meet with Senator for planning 

-Fill in for Senate meetings when needed and if available

-Take initiative on projects and team management 

-Brainstorm of new pieces of legislation to work on 

-Document staff hours, and timeline of staff work

-Be a team player 

-Connect with staff for personal and professional development
