Purpose

The Food Booths Coordinator is responsible for researching and recruiting vegetarian food vendors to attend the festival. In addition, you will help with facilitation and management of the food booths during the festival.

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

● Manage the applications process and recruit and accept vegetarian food vendors for the festival

● Collaborate with campus Fire Department, EH&S, Risk Management, Grounds, and Facilities to ensure that all food vendors are in compliance with university policy

● Collaborate with the Logistics Coordinator to coordinate the ice trailer and sell ice to vendors during the festival

● Collaborate with other staff on the layout of the food vendors

● Attend meetings with University Department heads and Whole Earth Festival directors

● Oversee the food booths and be responsive to the needs of the food vendors during the festival

● Assist food vendors’ set up and clean up before and after the festival

 

[Obligations for ALL WEF members]

  • Attend weekly meetings starting Fall Quarter until the festival
  • Must be available for the Weekend of the Festival: May 12-14, 2023
  • Must commit to helping set up and clean up the days leading up to the festival (May 10-11, 2023) and the day after the festival (May 15, 2023)
  • Must submit a monthly Volunteer Report to Directors online
