Purpose

To manage and help organize ASUCD elections as outlined in the ASUCD Constitution and Bylaws.

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

 

● Lead the Elections Committee in organizing, managing and promoting the ASUCD Elections.

● Plan, host all elections events, including but not limited to a candidate debate, a informational sesion for any ballot measures or inaitiatives, workshop(s) on candidacy procedures, and all processes enumerated in ASUCD Bylaws and Consitution.

● Conduct outreach to students and student organizations to publicize and provide information on elections.

● Consult with Creative Media to develop and curate content for official social media accounts for ASUCD Elections in accordance with the ASUCD Branding Guidelines UC Davis Social Media Guidelines Policies.

● Assess complaints, fraud, or violations in elections in accordance with the ASUCD Consitution and Bylaws.

Skills

● Demonstrates strong communication, organization, planning, and management skills.

● Exhibits familiarity with relevant sections of the ASUCD Bylaws and Constitution which pertain to ASUCD elections.

● Has high moral and ethical standards and leads with spirit of ASUCD bylaws and Constitution. Has the ability to make difficult and impartial decisions and adjudicate fairly.

● Has proficiency with Zoom, Google Drive, and/or Microsoft Office.
