Purpose
The Coordinator of Educational
Expansion is in charge of setting up the annual
Business Plan Competition that the
Entrepreneurship Fund holds for undergraduate students, as well as facilitating
other networking and skill-building opportunities. In the past, the
Entrepreneurship Fund has partnered with other business fraternities in hosting
this competition.
Duties
As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.
In regards to the Business Plan
Competition, the Coordinator of Educational
Expansion’s duties include:
- Securing an appropriate location
for the event
- Heavily marketing the event
- Working closely with the
partnering organizations to develop clear and concise communications that
include
b. Creating a detailed Facebook
event page
c. Performing classroom
presentations outlining the event
3. Creating a Google website and
forms that will allow applicants to sign up for the event
- Finding sources of funding for the
prizes and food/refreshments
- Contacting possible sponsors
- Creating certificates that will be
given to the winners of the competition
Skills
• The ability to work with very
little overhead supervision
• Be capable of setting up a concise
time schedule of when particular components of the competition should be completed
• Be able to maintain good relations
with the partnering organizations, as they will be a key component in helping
you market and set up the competition
• Prior knowledge in marketing,
social media, and/or event planning is helpful
