Purpose
The Ethnic & Cultural Affairs Commission is responsible for investigating & recommending policies & programs concerning underrepresented communities at UC Davis. This commission writes and edits legislation regarding campus issues, ensuring that the student voice is heard within our student government.
Duties
As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.
- The commission chair must plan weekly commission meetings and ensure that the mission of the commission is upheld and supported through legislation, policies, and programs
Skills
Applicants should be reliable, highly motivated, and passionate about making a positive difference in the world. We are seeking team players and self-starters with creative and critical input to enhance the commission's projects and policy recommendations. Students of all backgrounds and years are encouraged to apply. Must have a demonstrated knowledge of social justice and depth in understanding diverse communities.
