Purpose

The Internal Affairs Commission (IAC) investigates and recommends improvements to the ASUCD Constitution, Bylaws, and Long-Range Plans, often authoring legislation as a commission for consideration by the ASUCD Senate.  IAC also occasionally reviews and recommends improvements to the governing documents and internal procedures of outside organizations involved with ASUCD.

Duties

As a part of ASUCD, you agree to subscribe to the ASUCD Newsletter.

  • Attend weekly meetings on Mondays from 4-6 pm 
  • Make improvements to the ASUCD Constitution and Bylaws
  • Review legislation and make recommendations to the ASUCD Senate
  • Update long-range plans for various units

Skills

  • Be highly motivated and be able to convey their points eloquently.
  • A sense of impartiality should be displayed when making legislative decisions
